Dear, Rome. We’re better together!

Rome today is one of the most important tourist destinations of the world, due to the incalculable immensity of its archaeological and art treasures, as well as for the charm of its unique traditions, the beauty of its panoramic views, and the majesty of its magnificent "villas" (parks).

Rome, the “Eternal City,” brims with ancient history, from the Colosseum to the port of Ostia Antica to majestic Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel. Because of its history, art, architecture, and beauty – and perhaps its gelato and pasta! – Rome is one of our most popular cities.

 Why do people love Rome?

Rome is a fabulous mix of history, archeology, art, religion and religious culture and delicious food; and while it certainly is the most popular place to visit in Italy, it's also a city that has remained true to itself – very much a place where locals live.

I love Rome, it is one of my favorite Europian cities. Here is the 3rd postcard from Rome,

With love,

Rome is one of my favourite cities in the world!

“The thing I love about Rome is that it has so many layers. In it, you can follow anything that interests you: town planning, architecture, churches, or culture. It’s a city rich in antiquity and early Christian treasures, and just endlessly fascinating. There’s nowhere else like it.”
~ Claire Tomalin

You fall in love with Rome very slowly, little by little, but if it happens, it’ll be for a lifetime!

With love,
Ivana

“I love Rome and the way that you can wander around and find something interesting around every street corner. You can smell the history"❤️

Rome is not like any other city. It’s a big museum, a living room that shall be crossed on one’s toes.”
-Alberto Sordi, Italian actor

Rome is one of the most popular travel bucket list destinations, for a good reason! Home to the famous Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, the Italian capital is just simply stunning and it’s definitely not to be missed when planning a trip to Italy.

This is my first post from Rome postcard edition on my blog. Stay tunned for more intresting facts about Rome, Italy, Italian food and lifestyle.
